I found this object at home in a drawer and I honestly do not remember what this is. That's why I chose this object for our speculative story, because if I don't have a clue what this is today, how would people from the future know what it is? 
I made this composition of chairs to question their use. Will they use it to sit on? Or will they maybe use it as firewood? In short: Would the people of the future understand what a chair is?

I was inspired by Magritte's c'est ne pas un pipe artwork. What if a chair is not a chair?
